Grill-Hack # 1: Frying basket for grilled vegetables

Grilling vegetables can be a hassle. Because every piece of pepper and every mushroom has to be turned individually. However, you can make your work easier if you use a frying basket. You simply toss the chopped vegetables over the fire or the grate - this adds color to the grill and nothing sticks. Our tip: To easily marinate the vegetables before grilling, put them together with the marinade in a lockable salad bowl and shake everything well.

Hack 1

Grill-Hack # 2: Standing grilled fish

Grilled fish is simply delicious! Unfortunately, it quickly sticks to the rust and is not easy to turn. With our grill hack you'll definitely be able to cook fish. To do this, take a lemon wedge and put it in the fish. Then, cut a potato in half and stick a toothpick in each half. You then stick the lemons into the fish onto these toothpicks. Trout, zander and other types of fish are easily grilled standing up.

Hack 2

Grill-Hack # 3: Fish on a bed of citrus fruits

Even more fish: With this hack you can give fish a stunning citrus note and smoke it in an easy way. To do this, briefly dip the smoking chips in water and then wrap them carefully in aluminum foil. Then place the orange and lemon slices on the grill and the fish fillet on top. Place the smoking chips on the grate. All of this slowly spreads an irresistibly fresh scent. And by the way, the fish doesn't stick thanks to the citrus fruits. Tip: If you close the grill, the smoke and its aroma can develop even better.

Hack 3

Grill-Hack # 4: Flying Chicken Drum Sticks

With this grill hack, chicken legs are cooked perfectly without sticking to the grill. You cut around the chicken leg close to the bone to cut the tendon. Then you pull the meat down and marinate it - ideally with a mixture of grill seasoning, honey and mustard. Then hang the drumsticks on the grill in a metal lid holder. So they basically fly over the grill, they cook evenly and don't dry out.
