Fancy a barbecue?

The barbecue season is finally here! If you want to organise a big barbecue party, the first thing to think about is how many people you want to invite. How much space do you have? Do you need to hire or rent party tents or beer table sets?
The more guests, the more important it is to hand over responsibility and clearly divide the tasks. A so-called potluck party, where everyone brings different dishes makes things a lot easier. Always make sure to let you guests the date of your party, better sooner than later.

Things to put on your grill

It’s clear that you want to impress your guests. With our help, you’re sure to succeed. We’ve collected all our recipes here, which you can use to put together your perfect barbecue menu – from flavoursome salads to creative barbecue dishes, even beyond sausages, chops etc. There’s guaranteed to be something for every taste!
Another important question you should ask yourself beforehand: Are you inviting guests who don’t eat meat? We have recommendations for vegan barbecues here. If you’re looking for even more inspiration for the culinary side of things, take a look at our blog posts on salads, barbecue sauces and drinks!

How much to buy

Anyone organising a barbecue party always has to deal with the same question sooner or later: How much should I buy so that everyone is happy and there isn’t too much leftover food?
There is a basic rule of thumb: if you are grilling meat, plan around 200 to 250 grams for each hungry adult. This amount can be reduced accordingly for children. If fish and seafood are being used, 150 to 200 grams is usually sufficient; the situation is similar for vegetarian or vegan dishes. This is because they are easier to digest and you will feel full sooner.
Of course, we can only give you a rough guide, as the surroundings play a role – for example, the duration of the party or the amount of side dishes. By the way: If you have leftover barbecue food, we have a few good ideas on what to do with it.

A checklist for any case

Good vibes

Maybe you’re hiring a small party band for your barbecue – if not (which we think is the case), then at least the right music should come from the band. Of course, we’ve thought of that too. And we’ve put together two different playlists for you on a well-known streaming portal. Choose the “Grill-Easy” playlist for unobtrusive, laid-back background music or the “BBQ-Party” playlist, which is really fun.

We wish you a wonderful party!
