Grill Hack # 1: Frying Basket for Grilled Vegetables

Grilling vegetables can be a painstaking task. Every slice of bell pepper and every mushroom needs to be turned individually. But using a frying basket can make things much easier. Chop the vegetables and place them in the basket, then simply toss them over the flames or grill — this will add some color and make sure nothing sticks. Our tip: For an easy way to marinate the vegetables before grilling, place them in a salad bowl with the marinade, put a lid on the bowl and shake it all up until thoroughly mixed.

Grill Hack # 2: Grilling Fish Upright

Grilled fish is simply delicious! Unfortunately, it sticks to the grill easily and is difficult to turn. But with our grill hack, your fish is sure to be a hit. Take a wedge of lemon and place it inside the fish. Slice a potato in half and stick a toothpick into each half. Then stick the lemon in the fish onto these toothpicks. This method is perfect for easily grilling trout, zander and other fish upright.

Grill Hack # 3: Fish on a Bed of Citrus Fruits

Even more fish: This hack is an easy way to smoke your fish while giving it a fabulous note of citrus. Briefly dip your wood chips in water, then wrap them in aluminum foil — but not too tight. Place slices of orange and lemon on top, together with the fish fillet. Put the whole thing on the grill and wait for the irresistibly fresh aroma. And thanks to the citrus fruits, the fish will not stick to the grill.

Grill Hack # 4: Flying Chicken Drumsticks

With this grill hack, your chicken drumsticks will be perfectly cooked without sticking to the grill. Cut around the drumstick close to the bone to cut through the sinew. Then pull the meat downward and marinate it — ideally with a mix of Grill Seasoning, honey and mustard. Then hang the drumsticks on the grill in a metal pot lid holder. Suspending them over the grill in this way ensures that they cook evenly and don't dry out.
