Beets are regarded as a superfood because they are full of vital nutrients. Their delicate flavor doesn't just taste great in hot dishes — it also gives salads a sweet, earthy note. In this recipe, apples, beets and lettuce leaves are combined with a refreshing yogurt dressing.

Ingredients 4 Portions
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices. Quickly fry in a pan with 2 tbsp. of oil, remove from the pan and put to one side.
Cut up the beets and also fry in the pan. Season with salt, pepper and half the Kotányi Turmeric seasoning mix and fry for a few seconds. Remove from the pan.
Make a dressing by combining the yogurt, the rest of the seasoning mix, garlic, honey and the juice of an orange and season with salt to taste.
Roughly chop the almonds. Wash and pluck the salad leaves.
Dish the salad, beets and apples up onto a plate and garnish with the dressing and the chopped almonds. Serve with bread.
